According to a report by Medium, Seabex has demonstrated that this technology is already revolutionizing small-scale farming practices, reducing water usage by up to 20% and boosting crop yields by 25%. In places like France, water use has decreased by up to 40%. Additionally, a farmer from southern Tunisia noted, “Before Seabex, it was difficult to maintain our crops with the limited water available. Now, our yields have improved significantly”.
These innovations are invaluable for farmers facing the immediate challenges of climate change. Precision farming helps optimize crucial resources, which is not entirely a “new method”, since it has been developed since the 1960s, it continues to evolve and adapt to the ever-changing agriculture sector.
